The election on YouTube: a playlist
Posted by Thomas Nephew on November 10th, 2008
The first item I saved to my “campaign 08″ playlist was a clip of Hillary tearing up in New Hampshire. (For the record, I thought she was sincere and that it was actually one of her better moments during the campaign.) The last one was of Obama’s acceptance speech in Chicago last Tuesday night.
Altogether, the playlist currently links to 45 videos featuring John Edwards, debate outtakes, Obama Girl, the McCain-Palin “mob” and more. For the sake of my own sanity, I probably put more emphasis on the occasional funny stuff than you’ll see in compilations by, say, Michael Beschloss or Doris Kearns Goodwin. Have a look; mousing over the bottom part of the screen will help identify a given clip.
