On Fox News Sunday this morning, Chris Wallace threw this editorial in Evan Bayh's teeth: "even the Washington Post" is criticizing Obama, etc.

What a racket the right has going - the Washington Post editorial board isn't a real thing, a collection of people who have cheered on the war from the start. Instead, it's a punch line in decades-long sarcastic joke about the "liberal media."

Nice one.

And you have to like how Fred Hiatt and his water-carrying for McCain have now been completely overtaken by events, with Maliki's explicit statement in favor of Obama's 16-month timeline.

Heh.

Which also clears the way for us never-satisfied hotheads to quit pretending that a timeline for withdrawal is some big achievement and get to work building support for the only demand that will end the occupation: a complete withdrawal of U.S. forces (troops and contractors) by a date certain. I'm liking Labor Day 2010.
